Base Compensation: $54,631.61 ($21/hr. (and up) | Equivalent to $26.27)

Communication Center Specialist
Arapahoe Credit Union is seeking a full time Communications Center Specialist for our Virtual Branch located in Littleton, CO. The applicant must be skilled at building and strengthening relationships and creating member loyalty while anticipating and exceeding their financial needs through active promotion, sales and delivery of our products and services. Previous Credit Union or Banking experience required. Bilingual (Spanish), Lending skills and account opening experience is preferred but not required. This position pays $21 per hour and higher.


Communication and Development Specialist supports all communication, marketing, advertising, and public relations functions at the credit union. A communication specialist will contribute to and help maintain ACU’s social media profiles, print material and other items as requested. Managing a range of communication platforms, a specialist will maintain compliance and ensure consistent and authorized message delivery. Additionally, a communication specialist helps finalize all delivered material while offering idea generation and feedback for all content and media. A specialist will present a uniform image matching communications objectives for the credit union through a continually changing range of tasks that may include the use of interpersonal channels. During all tasks, a communication specialist will seek value and opportunity for the credit union through a variety of research, training, and analysis.
Duties:
- Creates a variety of content that can be applied across several mediums including text, static graphic, video and audio channels. This includes, but is not limited to, lobby screens, on-hold messages, website content, print advertisements, and online videos. It will also largely include both writing and image manipulation.
- Monitors, maintains, and continually updates a variety of content channels. Additionally, manages social media platforms and maintains uniform credit union messaging.
- Assists in perfecting all delivered content by offering constructive feedback, opinions and corrections. Maintains compliance and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Up to six months of similar or related experience. Image editing skills preferred. Writing skills required.
High school education or GED required. Associates preferred. Though not required, bachelors or greater within the field or one of analysis will be given precedence.
A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. It is important to foster sound relationships with members, leaders, community opinion holders, vendors and other credit union contacts.
Basic computer programs including Publisher, Word, and PowerPoint required. Skills in photo-editing or other word processing applications are considered (e.g. Google Docs). Basic Adobe Suite skills recommended, but not required.

Full-Time Teller/ Both Locations

Full Time Teller
Arapahoe Credit Union is seeking a Full Time Teller working M-F with a flexible schedule ranging from 8:15 am–6:15 pm at our Centennial Branch. We also have an opening for an Englewood teller working from 8:30 to 5:30, fixed. The teller should have cash handling experience and be skilled at building relationships and creating member loyalty while processing financial transactions timely, accurately, and maintaining a high balancing record. The position also requires the necessity to learn and adapt to numerous business technologies. This position pays $16.79 per hour and higher.
Duties:
As a Teller for Arapahoe Credit Union, you will be responsible for:
- Establishing and maintaining member relationships through active listening and matching of credit union products and services to individual member needs.
- Accurate and timely processing of member transactions.
- Maintaining a high cash drawer balancing record.
- Identify transactions/situations where the credit union must follow the Bank Secrecy Act.
Qualifications:
A minimum of six months to one year of customer service is highly desired. Cash handling experience is required. Experience in a financial institution is preferred, bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Flexibility to work in any Arapahoe Credit Union branch when necessary which may require flexible working hours.
